THE REVIEW:

I really enjoyed this book!  Also.. I would love to go on a girl's only cruise!!

Anywhoo... this book is about Jody Carter, who's recently divorced.  She's just starting a week long cruise with her three girlfriends.  When she meets Taggart Keith, the attraction to him is instant. The feeling is definitely mutual for Taggart as well.

Jody is scared, not wanting to get involved with anyone so soon after the divorce.  With a son at home, a man is the last thing she wants.  If only she could forget about Taggart!!  He has different ideas. He's not used to woman running away, and Jody makes it clear, she's doesn't want to start anything with him.  Even though her actions say differently, he does what she asks and takes it slow.

This proves to be easier said then done for both of them.  The sexual attraction is electric between them, but she's determined to take it slow.  Her self-esteem is pretty low, and she has some pretty low thoughts about herself.  She wants Taggart, but she's afraid of what he'll think of someone who's not been on a date since the divorce.

I loved Jody.  Despite her reservations, she takes a chance on Taggart.  It helps to have her friends there with her to help push to give him a chance.  She's reluctant at first, but the attraction and Taggart himself, make it hard for her to say no. She doesn't want to have any expectations after the cruise is over.  She has obligations, like her father and her son.

Taggart... oh man... he's beautiful!  He knows Jody is cautious about getting involved with him, and he knows he needs to take things slow with her.  He's not used to chasing women, and Jody makes him do exactly that for the few times they meet.

I loved her friends, Doreen, Lauren, and Cricket!!  It's always amazing when I read a main female lead who have such great support to lean on.  They are there for her no matter what, and know she's scared to get involved with Taggart.  Despite that, they push her to take a chance on him!!
